Oxford County Public Health and Emergency Services are investigating a dog bite on the walking trail in Beachville.
BEACHVILLE - An evening stroll along the Carmeuse Lime Plant Walking Trails could lead to a series of rabies shots for a local person.
Oxford County Public Health and Emergency Services are investigating a dog bite on the trail in Beachville.
The person was bit last Wednesday around 7:30 p.m.
Officials need to speak with the dog owner and they need to see proof the dog is caught up to date with their vaccinations.
If not the person will have to have a series of rabies shots.
The owner is described as a white woman in her mid to late 30's with a medium build and dirty blonde hair.
She was wearing a long sleeved light coloured shirt and pants.
The dog is a cross with a pit bull or boxer and is brown or tan in colour with tags and a collar.
