The Braves beat the Navy Vets 4-3 to win the Doherty Division Championship!
PJHL - The Tavistock Braves have won the Doherty Division Championship!
This comes after they celebrated a 4-3 victory over the Woodstock Navy Vets in Game 7 at Southwood Arena last night. Carter Areseneau scored twice for the Braves, while Ryan McKellar and Evan Palubeski scored the other goals for Tavistock. Cooper Vickerman, Will McGregor, and Carson Littlejohn scored for Woodstock.
This means the Tavistock Braves will advance to face the Dundas Blues in the South Conference Final. The series schedule has yet to be released.
This also marked the end of Junior C hockey for the Woodstock Navy Vets. The team announced on March 5th that they will make the switch to Junior B, and start playing for the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) at the start of the 2026-2027 season.
