Residents on the 11th Line are calling it the 'Odour Emitting Facility'.
That's the name they've given to the Odour Control Facility after they say they've endured more than 18 months of horrific smells from the plant.
The group asked County council Wednesday night to move the facility.
11th Line Resident Cheryl Brown tells Heart FM there is a near constant sewer gas smell around her property. "It's difficult to enjoy your property because you never know it if is going to smell. There's always a bit of a westerly wind that blows it across, it even comes in our windows. Your outside and all of a sudden it smells really bad".
Residents say they were assured before the plant went in that there would not be any odour issues, they are now requesting council move the facility.
Staff will report back to council October 23 with solutions to fix the odour problem.
