The remnants of Hurricane Beryl could bring 20 to 40 milimetres of rain per hour.
OXFORD - Significant rainfall has sparked a special weather statement for Oxford County.
We're about to experience the remnants of Hurricane Beryl with torrential downpours possible over the next few days.
It should start tonight or tomorrow and continue into Thursday. Environment Canada says we could get 20 to 40 milimetres per hour at times, adding some areas could get more than 50 milimetres.
Officials are currently tracking the system and it's possible a rainfall warning could be issued.
