Thanks to a scheduled software upgrade, access to in-person and online services will be limited tonight for the Woodstock Public Library.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Public Library is set to see a service disruption later this evening, lasting from around 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. tonight.
This comes as the library is looking to undergo a scheduled software upgrade, with intermittent service outages expected throughout.
Director of Library Services, Megan Cook, says this upgrade will affect their online resources along with some of their in-person services as well.
"Our circulation department will only be able to access check-outs, so we won't be able to do card renewals, as well as library card registrations and check-ins."
She says that you also won't be able to access their eResources, online accounts, program registrations, and more during the upgrade time.
Cook goes on to say that anyone who has books due today though, won't need to panic.
"If folks are trying to get their books in today, we'll back-date it, so no need to worry there."
The Woodstock Public Library is thanking the public for their patience this evening and they apologize for any inconvenience.
SERVICE ALERT: Please note that the library will be undergoing a systems upgrade on Wed. Feb 21 starting at 6 pm. Access to online services may experience intermittent outages during this time.
