OXFORD/BRANT - A special weather statement is currently in effect for Oxford and Brant.
Environment Canada is predicting about 20 to 30 millimeters of rain starting today and continuing through tomorrow morning. Some areas could even see up to 40 millimeters total.
The rain could be quite heavy at times and there's also a possibility of thunderstorms.
Environment Canada says we could see the ponding of water on poorly drained sections of highways, so you should give yourself some extra time if you have to drive anywhere today.
