A single vehicle crash on Highway 3 this morning near Delhi has shut down a section of the highway and caused a power outage for at least 60 people.
DELHI - A section of Highway 3 is closed this morning after a single vehicle crash with a hydro pole near Delhi.
The driver was not injured in the crash, however the impact caused the pole to snap in half. The collision caused a power outage for at least 60 people in the area. Highway 3 will be closed for at least another 2 hours between Fernlea Side Road and Schaffer Side Road because of the collision.
Hydro crews are at the scene and working to get the power restored and the area cleared. Constable Ed Sanchuk says charges are pending as a result of this collision.
