The hope is public school teachers will go back to voluntary activities like supervising sport teams and clubs. OSSTF Union president Ken Coran now says many teachers are still angry about having contracts imposed on them in January and may not be willing to take on those activities again. On Friday, the union has said it would "suspend political action'', and leave it up to individual high school teachers on whether or not to return coaching teams and supervising clubs. Elementary teachers haven't yet said if they'll resume voluntary activities -- but their union is expected to decide by the end of the week.
