A man from Tillsonburg was killed in a snowmobile crash near Barrie.
TILLSONBURG - A 51 year old man from Tillsonburg has died after a crash involving a snowmobile and a truck in the Township of Minden Hills near Barrie.
Police say the snowmobile was heading westbound on the B103 trail when it struck a pickup truck heading southbound on Francis Road. The driver of the snowmobile was pronounced deceased at the scene. He is from Tillsonburg. His name will not be released to the public at the request of his family. The crash happened yesterday afternoon around 1 p.m.
The female driver and female passenger of the pickup truck did not suffer any injuries.
