A Tillsonburg man is facing jail time after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography. 39 year-old Jason Ward was sentenced to 14-days in prison and one year of probation Wednesday after images of a 15 year-old girl were found on his cell phone. Ward was arrested in August 2010 on another matter when police discovered the photos on his phone. Despite being warned by the mother of the girl that she was underage, he continued with what he says was a consensual relationship. The original charges against Ward were sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference, however those charges were dropped. A publication ban does not allow any other information to be released to protect the identity of the teen.
