Oxford OPP say they found methamphetamines on a 21 year old man in Tillsonburg.
TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP have arrested a 21 year old from Tillsonburg for possession of methamphetamine.
Police say they pulled over a white van just after midnight this morning on Ann Street in Tillsonburg. Through investigation it was determined the man driving the van was a suspended driver. Police then decided to search the vehicle and claim to have found methamphetamines in the vehicle.
The 21 year old was arrested and his vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days. He has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension – contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs And Substances Act.
He was released on an appearance notice for a future court date.
