Sergeant Ed Sanchuk says its a miracle that no one was hurt.
OXFORD/BRANT - The OPP had to shutdown a stretch of Highway 403 for several hours after a crash involving a transport truck and an SUV.
This affected the eastbound lanes between Middle Townline Road and Highway 53 yesterday.
Sergeant Ed Sanchuk posted a video about it on the OPP West Region X page at around 10:00 a.m..
"We are in the initial stages of the investigation, but it appears that a westbound transport truck crossed the center median into the eastbound lanes and collided with the driver of a SUV."
He says the call came in shortly before 8:00 a.m. and it's a miracle that no one was hurt.
The highway reopened shortly after 4:00 p.m. and no further details have been released.
CLEARED (4:15 p.m.): All eastbound lanes of #Hwy403 have reopened. ^pia
