Zorra Township is enhancing the relationship with local schools through a new committee.
ZORRA - A new committee will be striving to make Zorra Township schools the very best they can be.
Township Clerk Karen Martin is looking for four or five people to take on the responsibility of a new school committee.
"The number one goal of the committee is to develop a school retention plan in accordance with our township strategic plan. So that school retention plan would be for the township of Zorra."
Once the committee members are selected they will choose how often and when they plan on meeting.
Anyone from the township can apply, but some people will be given preference according to Martin.
"So at this point we're looking for four community representatives and priority on the committee will be given to at least one representative from each of the local school parent committees."
The application deadline is April 24th. Applications can be found at www.zorra.on.ca
