A new season means new exhibitions at the Woodstock Art Gallery as they celebrate their 60th year.
Woodstock - Summer is heating up at W.A.G, their new exhibitions will be featured starting July 8th in conjunction with celebrations for their 60th Anniversary.
To kick off their celebrations, there will be a reception on Wednesday July 18th at 5pm featuring Visual Elements 60: Annual Juried Exhibition alongside Thriving Spectrum: 60 Years of Annual Juried Exhibitions in Oxford County.
Leanna Tran discusses the celebrations as well as the Community Gallery featured artist, Angelique Lafreniére’s exhibition, Forces of Nature. A former juror’s choice award winner for the 54th Visual Elements. Forces of Nature is an explosion of colourful large abstract landscapes.
To keep the Woodstock Art Gallery’s permanent collection alive, the display cases on the 2nd floor feature a new selection of works focusing on frozen moments in time. With Each Second that Passes is an exhibit curated by Leanna Tran herself.
Admission to the Woodstock Art Gallery is free and open to all.
