The former Woodstock nurse accused of eight murders will make a video appearance in court today.
WOODSTOCK - The woman accused of killing eight people while working at nursing homes in Woodstock and London is making a brief court appearance this morning via video conference.
Elizabeth Wettlaufer is facing eight counts of first degree murder, four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault. The alleged aggravated assaults and two of the possible attempted murders happened at the Carressant Care in Woodstock where she is accused of killing 7 people.
The other attempted murder charges stem from Telfer Place in Paris and at a private residence in Oxford County. Wettlaufer will be appearing via a video conference this morning to speak to the charges.
