The Oxford Historical Society and Woodstock Museum are teaming up to test your local knowledge.
WOODSTOCK - If you know your heifers from your hoaxes the Woodstock Museum and Oxford Historical Society has a competition for you.
The society has carefully cobbled together a book featuring local trivia questions posed in the local newspaper in the 1990s. The questions centred around the history of Oxford County and readers could send in their answers to win a prize.
The book called 'Quizzical History' serves as the basis for a new exhibit at the Woodstock Museum National Historic Site. To celebrate the opening of the exhibit tomorrow night, the museum will be hosting a free trivia night. Teams of 1 - 6 people can test their knowledge for the chance to win a Canada 150 t-shirt.
Manager of Culture for the City of Woodstock and Curator Karen Houston says the questions will have a decidedly Woodstonian slant.
"What we've also done is used some of the cow tales that have been in the What's On Woodstock and people have to see if they know their history - especially local history; talking 1950s to 1990s."
The competition gets underway at 6 p.m. tomorrow night.
