The Helping Hands Food Bank is encouraging everyone to collect certain items to donate over the next 12 days.
TILLSONBURG - The Helping Hand Food Bank is in need of donations this holiday season.
The 12 Days of Giving Food Drive kicked off yesterday and lasts until Friday December 15th.
The Tillsonburg food bank is encouraging everyone to collect a specific item each day and bring all of their donations in on Saturday December 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Everyone is being asked to set aside some cookies and crackers today, in addition to the hot and cold cereal collected yesterday. You can find a breakdown of all of the items below:
Day 1 - December 4th - Cereal (hot and cold)
Day 2 - December 5th - Cookies and crackers
Day 3 - December 6th - Instant coffee and hot chocolate
Day 4 - December 7th - Canned fruit
Day 5 - December 8th - Cheese Whiz
Day 6 - December 9th - Regular and Chunky Soup
Day 7 - December 10th - Pancake mix and syrup
Day 8 - December 11th - Canned vegetables
Day 9 - December 12th - Peanut butter
Day 10 - December 13th - Kraft Dinner, spaghetti noodles and sauce
Day 11 - December 14th - Snacks for kids
Day 12 - December 15th - Dish soap, laundry soap, and toiletries
Monetary donations will also be accepted.
