The total number of cases in Ontario is at 38,680 following today's report. There were four deaths also reported with 34,359 cases resolved.
ONTARIO - There are 137 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province today.
The total number of cases across Ontario is now at 38,680. 5,885 of the cases involve residents living long-term care facilities.
Four new deaths were reported today with 34,359 cases resolved. The provincial death toll now stands at 2,763, with 1,792 of them were reported for residents living in long-term care homes and eight of them were reported for healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
To date, there have been 2,044,957 tests completed and there are 18,000 currently under investigation.
There are 87 people in hospital with COVID-19, however the Province says approximately 30 hospitals did not submit data to the Daily Bed Census for July 24th and it is anticipated there may be an increase in the number of patients who are hospitalized.
There 29 patients currently in ICU and 21 patients are in ICU on a ventilator.
