The 14-year-old Norfolk resident faces charges of failure to stop for police and driving without a licence.
WALSINGHAM - The Norfolk OPP charged a 14-year-old after they took a vehicle without permission.
On Friday around 11:30 p.m., the Norfolk OPP investigated a report of a stolen vehicle from a North Walsingham address.
Officers responding to the call located the vehicle, but the driver failed to stop for police. The vehicle was later found at a residence, which led to the arrest of the driver.
The 14-year-old Norfolk resident now faces charges of failure to stop for police and driving without a licence.
They will appear in court in Simcoe at a later date.
