Every year the Woodstock Recreation Committee hosts the event as a way to showcase some of the fun things the Friendly City has to offer.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Recreation Committee is hosting their annual Rec and Leisure Fair on Sunday.
It is happening inside the Reeves Community Hall at the Cowan Park Sportsplex from 1-4 p.m. Chairperson of the Recreation Advisory Committee Dan Molinaro says they have 30 vendors set up this year.
"We have over 30 vendors that are there representing the different Recreation and Leisure activities in Woodstock and area, everything from dancing to model airplanes, so there is something for everybody and it is a free event."
Molinaro says it's a great chance to learn about the different rec and leisure programs that are available in the Friendly City.
"If your a new resident to the Woodstock area, you might not be aware of the many activities that are available, most of them of free and even if you have lived here for a long time, you might not know about some of the amazing activities that are available to you."
The event is free to attend and they will have a ton of door prizes to make things even more interesting.
