An early bird raffle draw this afternoon will send two people to Buffalo to watch the World Junior Championships.
The people behind Andrew Stoddart's Legacy Fund are getting ready to draw the early bird winner of their fundraising raffle.
Andrew's Mother Cara Schmidt talks about what's on the line.
"Tickets to the World Junior Championships in Buffalo for the last four games as well as hotel accomodations, that's our early bird prize."
Another draw will take place on March 8th for tickets to see the Detriot Pistons, Tigers and Red Wings play in their home town.
Tickets are $10 and they can be purchased online here. Schmidt says all of the funds will be going towards a great cause.
"All of the money from the raffle will be going directly into our schools to place AED's in our elementary schools in Thames Valley District School Board."
There's currently 21 schools in Oxford County without the life saving devices. TVDSB announced in June that they would pay for the upkeep of the automated external defibrillator's, if a third party was to purchase them.
Andrew's Legacy has been fighting to put AED's in all schools since May 2015, when 15 year old Andrew Stoddart passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest in Kintore.
