The exhibit that has been on display since May is wrapping up this evening with a grand finale
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Art Gallery is having a big grand finale for the Solstice Project.
Things get started at 7 p.m tonight and they will have an animated film describing the Solstice project in detail along with a concept album and a visual arts collection. They will also have some interpretive song and dance to commemorate the solstice which is the longest day of the year.
Director and Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery Mary Reid tells Heart FM why they are having the grand finale. "So this actually the capping off of the Solstice Project, the Soltice Project has been on since May and this is a project that is done under the umbrella relivated.me which is sort of an artist managament that's done by several young artists here in Woodstock." She adds they will also be having some live music and interpretive dance at the finale. Tickets cost $5 and the whole family is invited as this is a dry event.
