The Salvation Army Church is hosting an event full of hope as they try to raise money for the CMHA
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Salvation Army Church will bring the community together for a big concert.
Planning Committee Member Chris Eby tells Heart FM about the Striving for Hope Concert.
"Striving for Hope is to work with the Canadian Mental Health Association to help our county deal with the youth, deal with the suicide victims, and also to help the victims that get back on track."
Woodstock's Men of Praise Choir will hit the stage with the Salvation Army Band and they will perform songs with a message of hope. Eby says members of the Canadian Mental Health Association will be there as well.
"The Mental Health Association will be there with tables of information - the Crisis Team, as far as I know right now, will be there."
CMHA Executive Director Mike McMahon will also take the stage to talk about mental health.
The concert will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 7 p.m. Although there is no admission price, freewill offerings will be accepted with proceeds benefiting CMHA Oxford.
