It's Big Brothers Big Sisters month and the Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, and area office has several events planned.
It's Big Brothers Big Sisters Month and the Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, and Area chapter is pulling out all the stops.
They will have many events scattered throughout the month of September, including a few exciting new firsts.
Executive Director Deb Landon says they will be hosting their very first car rally on September 25th.
"So it'll be starting from Ingersoll and one location starting from Tillsonburg and then we meet up Mount Elgin for a barbeque and fun activities followed by our annual Big Brothers Big Sisters versus OPP baseball game."
Even if you can't make it out to any of the events, there is still a way to make a difference in a child's life through Giving Day on September 28th.
"So it's an online campaign where we're asking people to make a donation or to sponsor part of our programs, either way it's a great way to show their support throughout the month."
September 18th is officially Big Brothers Big Sisters Day.
They will also have testimonies on their Facebook Page each day all month long
