Nadia Facca will start her new job as the President and CEO of Alexandra Hospital and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on April 25th.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital has hired a new President and CEO.
Nadia Facca will start in her new position on April 25, 2022. Facca has worked in healthcare for the past 17 years has held several leadership positions. Facca is a licensed pharmacist and a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders. She was the co-lead for the LHSC United Way 2020 and 2021 Campaign teams, which were honoured with the 2020 United Way Elgin Middlesex Change Maker Award for Outstanding Workplace Campaign Team.
Facca has a Master of Health Studies, Organizational Leadership from Athabasca University. Facca says she is excited to start her new role in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll.
"I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital into the future. I am honoured to be joining a team of dedicated leaders, staff, physicians, volunteers and board members. Together we can work towards providing the highest quality, safest care to the communities we serve."
She notes that taking over this role in the midst of a pandemic will add unique challenges.
"The pandemic has certainly created unprecedented challenges for all of us in the health sector. What I have seen in the past few years is leaders step up and staff and providers step up and do an amazing job. So I am certainly up for the challenge, I know entering the position at this time is a challenge in its self and I am for that challenge."
