Brant County OPP have laid multiple charges against a 25-year-old man from Paris. The charges stem from an altercation after a concerned resident called about a pick-up truck driving erratically.
PARIS - An altercation between two males has led to charges.
Brant County OPP received a call on Tuesday, August 15th, from a concerned resident in the Town of Paris in regard to a red Chevrolet pickup truck driving erratically and at high speeds, doing burn outs and brake stands.
The complainant was able to confront the driver, who fled from the vehicle.
Police attended and located the male driver in the area.
As a result, the 25-year-old man of Paris, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood concentration 80 plus
- Dangerous operation
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
The accused was released on a Form 10 undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charges.
