Amazing Race Event Returns in Woodstock

A fundraising event hosted by Ingamo Homes will return to Woodstock this month.

WOODSTOCK - Ingamo Homes will once again be hosting one-of-a-kind fundraiser.

On Sunday October 26th, there will be an amazing race event taking place in Woodstock to help raise money for the organization. Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, Sophie Foster explains what to expect when they sign up.

"You'll put together a team, small enough that you can fit in one car. I will start you off with your first clue and then each clue will lead to the next one so we do have prizes for winning teams and it's just like a really really fun event to do with your family or with friends."

Foster goes on to say how local businesses can join. 

"We do involve local businesses so if you are a local business listening to this and you want to be a stop I would love that. So, it is free to sign up but we just ask if you can please try to fundraise." 

Foster adds the package will include riddles, clues, and challenges to figure out along the way. Stops along the way might include partners of Ingamo Homes, which will let you learn about the organization, and who they work with.

Foster says Boston Pizza in Woodstock is the central hub for the event, and it will start there at 9:30 a.m. for checking in. The event itself will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with an afterparty until 2:30 p.m. at Boston Pizza.
