UPDATE: Another Superior Court date has been set for Trevor Birtch.
The former Woodstock Mayor appeared on camera in a virtual London courtroom this morning, alongside his lawyer James Battin.
Battin requested that the case move to Superior Court for assignment court sometime in June. The crown recommended an April court date, but the two settled with a May 16th court date in the end.
During today's court proceedings, Battin also stated that the defendant has elected to have a judge without a jury in this case.
