The Oxford OPP has launched an arson investigation after an unoccupied residence on King Street in Ingersoll burst into flames early Sunday morning.
INGERSOLL - Police believe someone intentionally set fire to a home on King Street in Ingersoll.
Firefighters battled the blaze at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday August 6th and police say the building was unoccupied at the time. Officers are currently looking over surveillance footage in hopes of finding a suspect.
The Oxford OPP Crime Unit is now investigating the matter with OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Ontario Fire Marshal's office.
