A 16-year-old Norfolk County resident is facing charges after an assault in Waterford.
WATERFORD - Norfolk OPP have laid charges after an assault in Waterford.
Last Friday, officers responded just before 10 p.m. to a residence on Brown Street West concerning a possible disturbance. It was determined that an altercation happened and one person was assaulted, sustained minor injuries, and had their property damaged. As a result, a 16-year-old Norfolk County resident has been charged with assault and mischief - destroys or damages property.
The accused, whose name is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act will appear in Simcoe Court at a later date.
