City Police looking for suspects in a break and enter and attempted theft in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK - City Police are looking for a suspect after an attempted theft Monday afternoon.

According to Police, an employee parked and then locked their 2001 Chevy Silverado in the employee parking lot of a Longworth Lane business around 3 Monday afternoon. Shortly after, officers say a man entered the lot and attempted to punch the driver's door lock out and then pried the driver's door but failed to gain entry in both attempts. The suspect is described at 6'2", 200 pounds, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. Damage to the vehicle estimated to be $100.00.

Then sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.  Unknown suspects entered an apartment on Dundas Street in the area of Light Street, Woodstock.  The suspect pried the apartment door open and once inside, took an X-Box game console, X-box games and an I-pod device.  Total value estimated at around $1000.00.
