The annual festival will close a stretch of Main Street today and tomorrow.
NORWICH - It's a sign that summer has arrived in Norwich Township.
It's Nostalgia Day weekend, so a stretch of Main Street in Norwich will be shut down today and tomorrow. The street market will located between Stover Street (Highway 59) and John Street, and the kids zone will be on Washington Street.
The Food Truck Fest is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. tonight and they will be close to John Street. There will also be live music on site.
Lots kids will be getting their fishing poles out for the Fishing Derby at the Conservation Area from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The free event is hosted by the Optimist Club of Norwich and District and it's geared towards youth under the age of 15, with lots of prizes to be won.
The popular car show will also return to Emily Stowe Public School on Saturday. Across the road, the Legion also has a packed schedule for tomorrow starting with brunch from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a grand opening for the new addition (including the accessible elevator and bathroom) at 11:00 a.m. and the Legion Rocks with live music on the patio from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
