All nominations have to be submitted by August 3rd.
OXFORD COUNTY - Nominations are open for the annual Oxford Tourism Awards of Excellence.
The awards were first given out in 2022 as a way to recognize the County's tourism business, organizations, and individuals who demonstrate excellence in many areas.
There are three categories this year including the Tourism Partnership Award, the Best New Tourism Product Award, and the Special Event of the Year Award. Self-nominations are encouraged, and are open to individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations based in Oxford County.
Manager of Tourism in Oxford County, Meredith Maywood says these awards just highlight the hard work that goes into making sure people want to visit Oxford.
"The Oxford Tourism Awards celebrate the champions and innovators of our tourism industry. The award ceremony is a time to celebrate the people who work tirelessly to offer unique experiences, invest in new tourism products and provide the small-town charm that keeps people coming back to Oxford County."
The deadline to nominate is August 3rd and you can find more information online here. The award ceremony will be held in October.
