ATV riders in Brant County are being reminded that it is illegal to ride your machines on County Roads. This includes sidewalks, gravel roads, shoulders and ditches.
BRANT COUNTY - Brant OPP are reminding residents that ATV's are prohibited on all public roadways in the County.
This includes sidewalks, gravel roads, shoulders and ditches. Police also recommend riders check with the local club to see what permits you need to hit the trails.
You should also make sure you are familiar with the by-laws for that area regarding ATV use on roadways and Crown land. Each municipality has its own rules and regulations.
Don't trespass, stay on the trails where permitted, ride safe and have fun!
