Woodstock Police issued 14 speeding tickets in the Friendly City yesterday.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have been cracking down on drivers speeding in the Friendly City.
They have been conducting a traffic blitz over the past couple of days and yesterday they managed to hand out 14 speeding tickets.
One of those tickets was issued to an 18 year old male driver who was going 114 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone on Oxford Road 17 near Pittock Park Road. He has had his licence suspended and vehicle impounded for 7 days as a result.
Officers will continue their traffic blitz all week in hopes of getting drivers to slow down as the kids get ready to go back to school.
