WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets will spend the weekend in the Friendly City with a couple of home games.
They're set to host the Elmira Sugar Kings tonight and the St. Mary's Lincolns tomorrow night. The puck will drop at 7:45 p.m. at Southwood Arena on both nights.
Tonight's game is also Terry Fox Awareness Night. This means volunteers from the Woodstock Terry Fox Run will be on site accepting donations ahead of the run in Southside Park on Sunday.
Looking at the Greater Ontario Hockey League standings, the Navy Vets are in a four way tie at the top of the Western Conference. They have four points heading into the second weekend of the season, alongside the Chatham Maroons, the St. Mary's Lincolns, and the St. Thomas Stars.
