Cheryle Baker was our local Green Party candidate in the provincial election last year and now she's going to represent the Green Party once again in the upcoming federal byelection.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Green Party of Canada has announced its candidate for the upcoming byelection in Oxford County.
Cheryle Baker will be in the running to become our next Member of Parliament when voters head to the polls on Monday June 19th.
She has worked in the engineering and design industry for years and she's also a driving force behind the Waterloo Region Grassroots Response. Baker is also passionate about several causes including housing, schools, and healthcare.
Baker also represented the Green Party of Ontario as the Oxford County candidate in the provincial election last year. She was living in Elmira at the time, but she has family here in Oxford County.
