Southwestern Public Health says if you cannot maintain a physical distance of six feet, to wear a face mask as a courtesy to those around you.
OXFORD COUNTY - As the community enters into Stage 3, Southwestern Public Health is offering ways you can be caring and responsible to others.
They say to support local businesses as they're re-opening for the first time since March, plus to be patient with workers as well as they are learning new processes.
Residents are also being encouraged to keep their social circle at ten people and stay six feet away from others, even while you're outside. The health unit says if you cannot maintain a physical distance of six feet, to wear a face mask as a courtesy to those around you.
They add not everyone can wear a face mask due to medical reasons therefore by wearing your mask, it protects them.
Other rules to follow include:
- Follow self-isolation rules if you test positive for COVID-19.
- Stay home when you are sick
- Offer support to those who need it.
