Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District will be hosting their Big Car Show at the Canadian Tire on Norwich Ave on Sunday.
WOODSTOCK - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District is revved up to host the 13th Annual Big Car Show.
It's happening on Sunday at the Canadian Tire Parking Lot on Norwich Ave from 9 am to 2 pm. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the not for profit agency. Fundraising and Marketing assistant Kristen Ralph tells Heart FM this is also a recruitment drive for them.
"It gets us out in the community and it gets people who would not normally associate with Big Brothers Big Sisters to come out and find out what were all about and to enjoy a great day to enjoy some old classic cars and some new supped up cars as well."
Ralph says they have a number of kids in Woodstock who are just waiting to be partnered up with a Big Brother or Big Sister. Ralph says a lot of the kids from their program will be at the show as well.
"We actually have what we call the Little's Award, we have some little's who come out and actually judge the cars and they get to pick their top three cars and they give out the award to the car owners that day."
