A long list of illegal items were seized in Delhi this week after a search warrant was executed.
DELHI - One person faces a list of charges after Police executed a search warrant.
On Tuesday at 4 p.m. the Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit searched a residence on Imperial Street in Delhi. The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of a quantity of suspected Hydromorphone, amphetamine, cocaine, and ecstasy. Additionally, Canadian and American money, drug paraphernalia, and a replica firearm were seized.
As a result, a 29-year-old man from Norfolk County faces 9 counts of operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code, 6 counts of driving a motor vehicle with an improper licence, 5 counts of using a plate not authorized for a vehicle, along with one count each of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin), and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 - in Canada.
He is expected to appear in Simcoe Court on August 6th.
