Blue Jays Introduce Additional COVID-19 Safety Measures

Starting Monday September 13th, only those who are fully vaccinated or have recently tested negative for COVID-19 will be able to cheer on the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.

TORONTO - You'll have to prove that you're fully vaccinated or have recently tested negative for COVID-19 if you want to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.

The Major League Baseball team has announced additional safety protocols which will take effect as of Monday September 13th. 

All fans, staff and guests under the age of 12 will have to bring a piece of government-issued ID with them along with a receipt of full vaccination that's at least two weeks old or a negative COVID-19 test that's less than 48 hours old.

In an official statement on it's social media pages, the team says the wellbeing of all fans, staff and players has always been it's top priority and it's also proud to join fellow venues in making large-scale events possible.
