More impressive results for two local skiers at the National Cross Country Championships.| Bob Thompson (right) skied to a 2nd place finish in Men?s Under-23 category in the 50km skate race. He finished with a time of 2-hours, 8-minutes. The championships were held over 8-days at Callahan Valley in Whistler Olympic Park. Bob's sister, Mary Thompson (bottom), was 6th in University women in the 30km skate race in a time of 1-hour, 32-minutes. Bob and Mary skied and coached the cross country ski team as students at WCI.
