Boil Water Advisory Ends for Tillsonburg

The advisory affected the area east of Broadway to Tillson Ave and the area south of North Street East to Oxford Street.

UPDATE - Southwestern Public Health has called off the boil water advisory for Tillsonburg.

The advisory ended at 6:26 p.m. today.

TILLSONBURG - Southwestern Public Health has issued a boil water advisory for parts of Tillsonburg.

It affects two areas of the town: east of Broadway to Tillson Ave and south of North Street East to Oxford Street.

Water sample results recently showed bacteria in the water. A resampling in scheduled, but officials say you should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for domestic purposes as a precaution.

This includes brushing your teeth, drinking, washing raw foods and making ice cubes, juice or baby formula.

You can find a map of the areas affected by the boil water advisories below. The affected area is outlined in black.
