OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council is about to have it's first look at the budget for 2026.
A draft budget of with a general levy of $96.3 million will be presented to council during tomorrow's meeting. It also includes an operating budget of $227.8 million, a capital plan of $127.9 million, and $61,266 for court security and prisoner transport, which would be paid to the City of Woodstock.
The draft budget also includes a $6.3 million levy, which is a 9.5 percent increase.
