Aspiring authors, journalists and teachers in Oxford County are welcome to check out a new writers workshop.
WOODSTOCK - The new Writers Cafe in Woodstock is promoting literacy in the Friendly City.
The program offered for free by Operation Sharing will promote creative writing, computer literacy, resume and cover letter writing and help you with your English.
Writing Cafe Coordinator Eric Schmiedl says you might even get published.
"Writing news stories for possible publication in our Oxford Insight which goes with the Oxford Review as well as the Operation Sharing newsletter called Helping in Unity."
The workshop will kick off at College Ave Church on Monday March 5th. Schmiedl says it's open to everyone.
"It's Mondays from 10:30am to 1:30pm and you can just show up. There's no signing up for anything; you can go there once or you can go there every Monday if you want. It's up the individual."
Aspiring writers of all ages are welcome.
