A 27-year-old man from Cambridge is facing impaired driving charges.
PARIS - A Cambridge man is in trouble with the Brant OPP.
On Friday, police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Mechanic Street in Paris, where a single-vehicle collision had been reported. Officers saw signs of impairment from the drivers, and the vehicle had sustained major front-end damage. Upon investigation, the license plate on the vehicle matched one from a vehicle that had fled from police earlier.
The 27-year-old driver was arrested and is now facing charges of operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, mischief, destroying or damaging property, and flight from police.
He will appear in a Brantford courtroom on October 30th.
