The Canadian men's soccer team will have a shot at winning the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
TORONTO - The Canadian men's soccer team will be competing in this year's World Cup.
They secured a spot in the tournament the after celebrating a 4-0 win over Jamaica at Toronto's BMO Field yesterday.
This is only the second time in World Cup history that Canada has secured a spot in the tournament. The first time happened in 1986.
The World Cup takes place every four years and it's considered to be one of the most prestigious of all international soccer events. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be taking place in Qatar and it will begin on Monday November 21st.
