Canada Day festivities will be taking place in several communities across Oxford including Tillsonburg, Innerkip, and Norwich Township.
OXFORD COUNTY - There's lots to do in Oxford County this coming Canada Day.
You could take a trip out to Tillsonburg and enjoy some breakfast cooked by Town Council members at the Station Arts Centre. Afterward, you could head over to the Annandale National Historic Site for a tour followed by a fun fair, games, and cake on the lawn.
Norwich Township is also throwing a Canada Day bash in Springford. They are opening with a parade at 1:00 p.m. and opening ceremonies at 3:30 p.m. The day will be filled with live music, bouncy castles, and face painting for kids. There will be an equestrian event, and food will be available for purchase and the night will finish off with fireworks at dusk.
Spend the weekend in Innerkip for the Lions Club Canada Day Long Weekend which starts today, June 30th going through to Sunday with such events as a softball tournament, dances, a parade, and fireworks to end the weekend.
