WOODSTOCK - Team Shan Night is happening at Montana's this month.
The event celebrates when the organization first became a registered charity.
President Lorna Larsen says the event has become quite popular over the years.
"You just come along to Montana's, hopefully enjoy a nice dinner, and you support Team shan by doing that. The only thing change this year is they have requested people pick up a support card when they arrive, so reception will have them and I'll be there with a display as well to share our resources too."
Larsen says the support cards are then given to Montana's staff and a percentage of the sales go back to Team Shan as a donation.
She says every event they hold is in memory of the late Shanna Larsen. Shanna, who is Lorna's daughter, passed away from breast cancer.
"The money does stay in Woodstock and supports our mini campaign that's going on right now for 2019. And you may see our transit shelter displays, our billboard and certainly hearing our radio spots on Heart FM. And it supports our resource distribution too and we will have resources available at Montana's, so everyone can pick them up for the special young women in their lives too."
It'll run from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on October 30th.
