A 57-year-old man from Brant County has been charged with multiple offenses after a head-on crash on Highway 24 Friday night. No one was hurt.
BRANT COUNTY - A 57-year-old man is facing a list of charges after a head-on collision in Brant County.
The Brant OPP responded to the two-vehicle crash on Highway 24, close to Oakland Road, at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the crash happened. No one was hurt, but one of the vehicles fled the scene before officers arrived. It was later found close to the Six Nations border.
The Brant County driver has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation, and failure to stop after an accident.
Police say you should call 911 immediately if you ever come across a suspected impaired driver.
